What is Creative Enterprise?
Creative Enterprise is a bespoke set of initiatives for ambitious screen businesses to access connections, training and networks to achieve business growth. Our goal is to give film & TV, games, immersive, animation and creative tech companies a disproportionate advantage in the industry.
Working closely with our partners at the British Film Institute (BFI), Creative Enterprise has been designed by industry leaders to take ambitious entrepreneurs who work in moving image for storytelling, spanning film and television, games and technology, on a journey to maximise their ability and create opportunities for business growth. Creative Enterprise has proved transformational for participating businesses, with an earned reputation for providing intensive support, connections and opportunities to fulfil growth potential.
Our Support Programmes & Grants
Screen Launchpad & Foundations
These are our early-stage programmes offering support to brand new and aspiring screen entrepreneurs. Screen Launchpad helps aspiring founders from underrepresented communities turn their creative ideas into sustainable screen industry businesses while Foundations support early-stage moving image companies (under 2 years old) helping them build strong business foundations and take their next big step.
Female Founders
The Female Founders programme empowers women-led screen businesses through expert-led training, mentorship, and networking, and has grown into a thriving community celebrated annually at the Female Founders Conference as well as the Female Founders Magazine, which spotlight the achievements and stories of its inspiring alumni.
Reframe
Reframe is a mentor-led business support programme designed to help screen-based companies navigate industry shifts, embrace new technologies, and unlock fresh opportunities for growth. Through expert guidance, personalised coaching, and insight into emerging tools and trends, Reframe equips businesses with the strategies and confidence to thrive in a rapidly evolving creative landscape.
Investment Readiness
The Investment Readiness Programme equips ambitious screen businesses with the knowledge, tools, and connections needed to secure investment while providing access to experienced mentors, industry experts and curated sessions with active investors, helping founders refine their business models, build confidence, and effectively communicate their investment potential.
Business Builder Grants
Business Builder Grants are designed to help businesses accelerate growth by subsidising the cost of expert consultancy, offering specialist support in areas like strategy, marketing, IP monetisation, and international expansion.
