Designed for ambitious screen businesses, Fast Forward provides the strategic clarity, expert mentoring, and commercial insight needed to accelerate growth, unlock new revenue, and build a resilient, scalable future.
The Creative Enterprise Fast Forward programme, sponsored by Barclays Bank, is designed to support screen businesses to jump‑start and accelerate sustainable growth. It provides a structured framework to strengthen the long‑term positioning and resilience of your business.
If you have a clear ambition to expand your business in value, reach, or impact, and want to explore the most effective routes to scale, Fast Forward is for you.
The programme focuses on strategic partnerships, product diversification, governance, financial strategy, decision‑making, exit planning, and investment. It addresses the often unseen but essential groundwork that underpins genuine growth and investment readiness.
This six‑month programme delivers highly tailored support, beginning with a comprehensive diagnostic to assess your current position, challenges, and opportunities. What Previous Participants Think
“Through the programme, we’ve developed our revenue model...We now have a strong product roadmap and a much clearer idea of our launch and our road to market. All of this stuff was so important for a business that has scale ambitions and now all of those building blocks are in place.”
“It sharpened my proposition...The programme’s mentors challenged me to put myself and my vision at the centre and show how the model can scale. That shift turned the pitch from ‘here’s a great history brand,’ into ‘here’s a replicable studio model with multiple verticals and revenue streams.”
“This process helped us sharpen our commercial positioning, clarify routes to revenue, and define a scalable roadmap across content, interactive, and licensing. [...] As a direct result, we have progressed conversations with potential investors and partners, explored new digital-first products and interactive extensions of the IP. The programme has materially improved our confidence, clarity, and preparedness to raise investment and scale the business in a sustainable way.”

Application Process
We want the process to feel thoughtful and two-way. Each stage helps us understand your business, and helps you decide whether the programme is the right fit.
1. Submit Your Application - Complete the online short application form. We ask the basic information about your business and what your ambitions are as a founder. We also collect data for monitoring purposes. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your application has been submitted.
2. Invitation to Founder Fit Interview - The applications are then reviewed by the Creative Enterprise team – if shortlisted, you’ll be invited to our Founder Fit Interview. We aim to get back to you within 28 calendar days.
______
What is Founder Fit Interview?
This is a conversation to explore whether the programme is the right fit for you and your business at this stage. It’s not a traditional interview but more of a two-way discussion to assess where you’re at as a founder and where you see your business going.
For Female Founders: Introduction to Investment, this conversation will take approximately 45 minutes with our programme manager and one or more mentors. You’ll be sent the questions and topic for discussion in advance.
_______
3. Second Conversation - In some cases, we may invite you to a short follow-up conversation. This allows us to clarify specific areas of your application and ensure the cohort mix is right for everyone involved. We aim to have this conversation within one week of the Founder Fit Interview
4. Final Decision - All applicants will be notified of the outcome. Successful applicants will receive a formal invitation to join the cohort, programme dates and commitment expectations as well as onboarding details If you’re not selected this time, we’ll aim to provide brief feedback and may suggest alternative support where relevant.
Applications Open on Wednesday 26th August 2026 at 12pm.
